Dr. Tracie Swayden has been in practice at the Center for Skin and Cosmetic Dermatology since 2002. She provides care for our general dermatology patients and also performs cosmetic procedures such as Botox, Restylane, and Sclerotherapy.
Dr. Swayden graduated from the University of Texas at Austin in 1998. She received her Bachelor of Arts degree in Biology. She earned her medical degree at the University Of Texas School Of Medicine at San Antonio in May of 2002. She completed her internship in Transitional Medicine at John Peter Smith Hospital in Fort Worth, Texas.
Dr. Swayden has taken special interest in anti-aging medicine and minimally invasive cosmetic procedures where she has participated in the following advanced education courses:

Professional Organizations
Outside of practicing medicine, Dr. Swayden enjoys participating in sports activities, dancing, singing, and writing poetry. She received a basketball scholarship in 1994 and joined the UT Lady Longhorns. She received an award for All-State Point Guard in the Texas 5A State Championship. She is actively pursuing her singing career with Septien Entertainment Productions and is a guitar student at Ridglea music.
